In addition to working with organisations in our communities, we support a principal charity - WaterAid.
Created in 1981 by the UK water industry in response to the United Nations' Decade of Drinking Water and Sanitation, WaterAid is the only international, non-governmental organisation dedicated exclusively to the provision of safe domestic water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world's poorest people.
In the three decades since, through the support of our employees, customers and external partners, we have helped thousands of the world's poorest people gain access to the very things we all sometimes take for granted - safe water and sanitation.
Over the next four years we're aiming to raise £2m for WaterAid, £1m of which will directly support four small towns in Bangladesh.
