Film summary
This film follows 24 hours in the life of our company and focuses on four teams:
- Customer contact centre in Swindon
- Victorian mains replacement team in Covent Garden
- Environmental protection team in Harrow
- Water control centre in Hampton
Filmed over a week in December 2007, the film gives a picture of the various roles which people around Thames Water carry out; and also reflects on the changes to the company since it came under new ownership in December 2006.
It looks at Thames Water past - focusing particuarly on Thames Water's rich Victorian heritage, present, and future.
The film, a little over five minutes long, also includes interviews with former CEO David Owens, and Mike Tempest, Director of Customer Services.
