Farmoor trout fishery prices

Fishing prices on Farmoor and related information.

General information

  • All anglers fishing at Farmoor must be in possession of a valid Environment Agency rod licence.
  • A fully stocked tackle shop is also available.
  • There will now be boat fishing on Farmoor II all year round.
  • There is no close season on Farmoor II, the season starts on 1 February 2010.
  • Farmoor I fishery is open year round, but closes between 18 July and 1 August for fish welfare.
  • Both reservoirs open at 8am, and boats are available from 8:30am onwards.

  • Concessions are available to OAPs (over 65) and registered disabled.
  • Under 16s may fish free of charge provided they are accompanied by an eight fish ticket (£25) or season ticket holder, (limit is shared).
  • We offer an excellent novice permit giving three visits for only £5, novices must be accompanied by eight fish ticket (£25) or season permit holder on each visit (limit is shared).
  • Permits marked ** are only available from 1 May to 31 August.
  • Permits marked * are for the last seven hours of the day.
  • ^ Anglers can only take 1 fish per day.
