Developers have the choice to self lay:

• Mains and services - developer completes all works
• Mains only - we or third party install service connection
• Services only - we or third party lay main

Please note, only self lay companies accredited (or in the process of being accredited) by the Water Industry Registration Scheme are permitted to install connections. The scheme is administered by Lloyds Register.

All self lay work must be carried out in accordance with the WRc Code of Practice for Self-Laying Water Mains and Services, published by the Water and Environment Bookshop.
