Seven day pressure trend
This investigation is required for developments with tall buildings or where pressure-sensitive fittings, such as combination boilers, are to be installed.
A pressure logging device is fitted to a nearby hydrant for seven days and records pressure levels every 15 minutes. We use this to confirm whether there is sufficient pressure for the internal plumbing at the development boundary.
A detailed report will be sent to you within 14 days from receipt of payment.
Cost: £250 + VAT
Budget estimate
This type of investigation helps to establish the cost associated with a new clean water system at your development, and includes the following:
- budget cost for new mains network
- budget cost for new water services required from the mains network
- infrastructure charges including credits identified
- information regarding possible reinforcement or diversion work
- additional capacity checks
- building water information
A detailed report will be sent to you within ten days from receipt of payment.
Cost: £195 + VAT
Flow and pressure investigation
This type of investigation is necessary where developments are medium-sized or located in a pressure sensitive area.
We will induce the new peak demand profile on our existing network and monitor the impact. This will determine if any reinforcements are required to our network to enable us to serve the new development.
A detailed report will be sent to you with 14 days from receipt of payment.
Cost: £770 + VAT
Detailed hydraulic model analysis
This type of investigation is necessary for large-scale developments to assess the possible impact on our network.
We conduct a substantial investigation to assess the strategic and local network impact of the new development.
Due to the nature of this report, a deposit will be required to prepare and assess the scope of work required.
Once your deposit has been received, we will provide the full cost and timescale of the model.
