This resource has been developed to provide students with a fun and motivational activity to help them understand, explore, and debate issues relating to water conservation at a local level.

Exploring a water neutral community

Students will participate in a debate to explore the arguments of becoming a water neutral community; taking on different characters living in a fictitious town, Clearwater-on-Thames.

Preparation for the debate and the debate itself can be delivered in two teaching sessions. Use the lesson plans, and lesson plan support presentations, provided which will help cover specific areas of the Citizenship, Geography and Science curriculum.
