Walthamstow reservoirs permit information
Permit prices and other related information.
General information
- All anglers fishing at Walthamstow reservoirs must possess a valid Environment Agency rod licence.
- All coarse anglers must carry a landing net and an unhooking mat.
- Adults must accompany children under 16. Children under 8 are not permitted.
- Dogs and bicycles are not permitted in the reservoir complex.
Reservoirs opening times and fishing seasons
- All reservoirs open at 7am and close 1 hour after sunset (7pm during winter).
- The fly-fishing season on all reservoirs begins on the second Saturday in March and runs until 31 December.
- East Warwick Reservoir season begins 1 September and runs until 31 May.
- There is no close season on Lower and Higher Maynard's reservoirs. Season starts 1 March.
- Number One, Two, Three and West Warwick reservoirs, and the Coppermill Stream season begins 16 June and runs until 15 March.
