We have produced several reports over the last few years, and although these are now out of date, they are provided here for information only.
Stage 1 - Needs & Alternatives
Launched in 2006, these reports cover the needs case for the reservoir, the alternative schemes considered and the reservoir site selection process. Please note that Stage 1 was replaced and updated by the new statutory Water Resources Management Plan process.
We also produced a Best Practicable Environmental Programme and Reservoir Site Selection Report. Both of these reports are still available but, due to their large file size, are only available on request.

Stage 2 - Preferred Scheme & Design Options
Launched in 2007, these reports cover the consultation on the design, access and recreation aspects of the proposed reservoir. All the comments made during the consultation will feed into the next stages of design when the project is revisited.
