Why save water?
In the UK we have access to high quality drinking water.
Our water supplies have been ranked top out of all the water and sewerage companies in England and Wales. In a recent taste test, Thames Water's tap water was rated top in the UK making it one of the best tasting waters in the world!
Other parts of the world are not so lucky. According to WaterAid, 1.8 million children die every year as a result of diseases caused by unclean water and poor sanitation. Water is precious.
WaterAid works with local communities to provide water, sanitation and hygiene education to people in developing countries.
