We’re sorry if you’re experiencing low water pressure or a loss of supply. This is due to a burst water main in the area.

Our teams have now fixed the broken pipe and are working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, there is air in the pipes which we need to remove as it stops the water flowing around the area and can take time to remove. Owing to the size of the area affected, and having to remove the air, it will likely take the remainder of the day for your water supply to return to normal.

In the meantime, we’ve diverted water around the affected area and are using tankers to to support by pumping extra water into the network, helping as many customers as possible keep their taps running. You may notice your water pressure is lower than normal at first, but this will return to normal once the area has fully recovered.

Bottled water is being delivered to those who are on our Priority Service Register, this will be delivered as quickly as possible. If you or someone you know could use a bit of extra help, especially during incidents like this, our free Priority Services Register is here to make sure we understand and support your needs.

A bottled water station has been set up, where should you need bottled water you can collect some. For safety reasons, please remain in your vehicle and only take what you need. Our teams on site will load the bottles into your vehicle and the bottled water station will remain open until 9:00pm this evening. If needed the bottled water station will be open again tomorrow morning.
