Water is essential for so many things. From having a drink, to washing our clothes, and flushing the loo. It’s also essential for a healthy environment and a prosperous economy.
Many people think there is enough water in the UK, but London is drier than places like Rome, Dallas and Sydney and with a growing population, our water supplies are being stretched further and further. We need to plan ahead and be innovative to make sure there’s enough water, that it’s a good quality, and that your waste is dealt with.
We constantly ask our customers for their feedback which helps shape our plans for the future. Take a look at our video which shows just some of the ways we do this:
In consultation with our customers, stakeholders and employees we’re developing two plans: The first is our Water Resources Management Plan (WRMP) which sets out how we will provide a secure and reliable water supply to our customers over the next the 80 years, from 2020 to 2100. The second plan is PR19 (Price Review 19) which looks at what services we’ll deliver for our customers, and how we’ll deliver them over a five year period from 2020 – 2025.
We want to hear what you think about these plans and if we’re focussing on the things which matter to you the most.
Closing date: 29 April 2018.
