If you have no water or low pressure tonight, it’s likely to only be temporary whilst we look for leaks. We actively look for leaks to try and prevent bursts from happening and to reduce wastage.  Whilst looking for leaks we also check that all of our equipment works as expected. Sometimes we have to turn some valves on and off to monitor the flow of water, allowing us to find any leaks. Tonight we’re working in: NW1, NW4, N7, W2, SE1, N1,SE23, NW6, SE10, SE5, SW7,NW2, TW5, SW1W, NW5,EC1R, SW1H, KT2

We've stopped the water flowing from our burst pipe in Camberwell New Road, SE5, and are now planning how best to fix it with minimal disruption.

In the meantime we’ll be using road sweepers to clear the silt from the road and aim to have the pavement open for pedestrians later today (Tuesday).

We expect the road to stay closed for at least the next two days so we can safely repair the pipe. We’ll do all we can to reopen it as soon as possible.

Your water supply should not be affected by our work, but if you live in or near the SE5 area and have now water or low pressure please contact us on 08003169800 or send us a message on Twitter or Facebook
