Adrian was the Deputy Chairman for several organisations. This included Network Rail Ltd, Partnerships UK plc, and UK Green Investment Bank plc.
From 1997 to 2001, he played a key role in boosting private funding for public infrastructure. First, he was the Chief Executive of the Treasury Taskforce. Then, he served as Deputy Chairman of Partnerships UK plc.
Before 1997, he was the Global Head of Project Finance at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. He joined the bank in 1993, following 20 years as a lawyer with Linklaters & Paines.
Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) awarded in 2001.
