We will be replacing 3.9km of clean water pipe in Biggin Hill, South London. Installing new water pipes enables us to provide you with clean drinking water now and for future generations to come.
We're working closely with local authorities to ensure these upgrades are delivered efficiently. Our priority is to minimise disruption to the area.
Watch the video to hear from our project team and local stakeholders on how work is progressing.
Our works started on Main Road from the roundabout junction of Downe Road. We’ll work towards the roundabout junction of Churchill Way.
Our main route of this project is now on hold. Bromley Council are completing a road widening scheme on Jewels Hill. So we've paused our work on Leaves Green Road / Main Road to reduce disruption to the local area.
We'll return to complete our mains replacement project in January 2026. During this period we'll complete works on Ashmore Lane and Milking Lane.
We’ll be working from Tuesday 27 May 2025 to September 2027. This will be six days a week, Monday to Saturday.
Traffic operatives will be on site Monday to Friday. They will manage the flow of traffic and ease congestion during peak hours.
Access to buildings and driveways will be available for residents and businesses.
You water supply may need to be switched off. A letter will be sent if you are impacted.
