Biggin Hill main replacement
We're teaming up with SGN to carry out 3.6km of water and gas pipe replacement in Biggin Hill, South London. This work will reduce leaks and bursts and improve network capacity and reliability.
We're working closely with local authorities to ensure these upgrades are delivered efficiently. Our priority is to minimise disruption to the area. Delivering the upgrade works at the same time means one less set of works for residents in the future. By working together, we're able to reduce the overall amount of time required to do the works by around one year.
When and where we'll be working
Our work starts on Main Road from the roundabout junction of Churchill Way. We'll work towards the roundabout junction of Downe Road in 100m phases.
We'll be working from May 2025 to September 2027.
Our working hours are:
- Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm
- Saturday from 8am to 12.30pm
How you'll be affected
One lane of Main Road will be closed and we’ll use temporary traffic lights to control traffic.
Access to buildings and driveways will be available for residents and businesses.
You water or gas supply may need to be switched off. A letter will be sent by your utility provider if you are impacted.
