Crystal Palace Park Road mains replacement

We're working with UK Power Networks (UKPN) to replace pipes to improve the network in the area. It's part of our continued investment to help provide reliable power supplies. UKPN will be continuing to upgrade the electricity network. This will help increase capacity for the ever-growing community.

When and where we’ll be working

Work began on 19 May 2025 at the junction of Lawrie Park Road. We anticipate having this section completed by 15 July.

UKPN will be excavating short trenches to lay pipework (ducts). They will then return to the open excavations to pull through and connect the cables. To save 28 days of disruption to the area, we'll be working under the same permit.

After this, we will continue to travel eastbound down High Street to the junction of Anerley Park.

Our working hours will be from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

How this may affect you

To work safely, our work will take place in different phases. We'll use traffic management lights to keep traffic flowing. This will enable us to progress safely along the route.

We’ll always do our best to minimise disruption to you. If your water supply is affected, we'll let you know in advance.
