Lambeth water main replacement
We're replacing the water mains in Lambeth, South London. The new plastic pipes we’ll install are much stronger than the current cast-iron pipes. The upgrade will reduce supply interruptions, improve water quality, and tackle leakage.
This will help us provide a more reliable service now and for generations to come.
When and where we'll be working
Work starts on 19 January 2026 and will continue until 2031. We'll be working across 86 roads in the Lambeth area.
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm
- Saturday, 9am to 5pm
- Sunday, 9am to 4pm
- Weekend working when required
