EN11 - Rye Road

Update - 18:15 17/12/2025

Our specialist teams are on site of the burst sewer main on Rye Road, Hoddesdon. We've had to close a section of Rye Road to all traffic until we have stopped the flooding, and we'll get this done as quickly as we can. Sandbags will be in place to stop further flooding to the area.

We're aware that Rye House train station is closed to the public at the moment, please check with Network Rail for details.  

We understand this work may cause inconvenience, and we’re grateful for your patience and understanding. Please be assured that our teams are doing everything possible to fix the burst and get things back to normal as quickly and safely as we can.
