Complex work ongoing
We’d like to thank local residents and road users for their continued patience while our teams work near the Shepherd & Flock roundabout in Farnham.
Our teams have made good progress repairing the damaged sewer pipe. Tankers remain in use to manage flows and reduce the risk of flooding while the repair work continues.
The remaining work involves complex road reinstatement. Several layers of material need to be carefully applied, with each layer given sufficient time to set before the next is added. This is essential to ensure the road is restored safely and to the required standard.
To minimise disruption and complete the work as quickly as possible, our teams are working extended hours wherever conditions allow. We currently expect the reinstatement work to be completed, and traffic management removed, by 10 September or sooner if conditions allow.
Until then, traffic management will remain in place and motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and plan ahead.
We’ll continue to provide updates as the work progresses. We apologise for the ongoing disruption and thank residents and road users for their continued patience and understanding.
