A406 North Circular Road project
We’re investing £18 million to replace a major pipe. The pipe runs along a section of the A406 North Circular Road and serves over 27,000 households.
The 24-inch diameter pipe serves households within Enfield, Haringey and Barnet. In previous years, the pipe has leaked causing extensive disruption for traffic.
We’re installing pipes made of Ductile Iron which is known for its durability. More durable pipes reduce the risk of leaks, bursts, and flooding. This will provide a more reliable service for the growing population over the next 100 years.
Once complete, there will be approximately 3,000 metres of pipe installed. This will be between the London Boroughs of Barnet and Enfield.
