Honor Oak Park mains replacement
We’re replacing the mains at Honor Oak Park as part of our investment to upgrade our network. The replacement will help to:
- Reduce leakage, resulting in less water being taken from the environment
- Lessen the likelihood of burst pipes
- Reduce impact on water supply
- Provide a more resilient network
When and where we'll be working
Work is scheduled to begin on Monday 26 January 2026 and is expected to finish in June 2026.
We’ll be working on Honor Oak Park from the junction of Grierson Road. We’ll then work towards the junction of Honor Oak Road.
Our working hours will be Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm. We may need to work on weekends when required. These hours will be Saturday and Sunday 9am until 4pm.
How this may affect you
We're sorry for the disruption this essential work will cause. We’ll do everything we can to keep impact to a minimum. You may be impacted by our work in the following ways:
Closures
Road closures, lane closures and traffic lights will be used throughout the project.
Bus stops
During the project, bus stop suspensions will be in operation. You can plan your journey online.
Access
Pedestrian access will be maintained for residents and businesses. Emergency vehicle access will also be maintained.
Bin collection
To assist with bin collections, we're working with the local authority.
Water suppluy
If we'll need to temporarily turn off your water supply, we'll contact you.
Other planned work
We’re working with Lewisham Highways to finish ahead of their road resurfacing.
