We're still working to fix the issue

11 August, 1:30pm

Our teams continue to work in the extreme heat to fix the multiple broken pipes in the area. We're sorry to those who are still affected.

Whilst progress is being made, it's taking longer than normal to fix the broken pipes as often excavations are needing to be extended. We're still working on the repairs at both Chigwell Road and Daisy Road, and extra teams are in the area to carry on the work. We'll be working 24/7 until things are back to normal.

To enable the repair, some currently not affected may notice they lose their supply for a short period. Once completed, this will mean a larger areas water will begin to flow again.

Bottled water continues to be delivered to those who are registered on our Priority Services Register as water dependent. We'll get to you as soon as we can.

Our bottled water stations are now open, and will remain open until 21:00 tonight. Please only take what you need and our colleagues will load your vehicle for you.

  • Fairlop Ice Kingdom, Fairlop Road, Ilford, IG6 3HN
  • Roding Sports Centre, Luxborough Lane, Chigwell, IG7 5AB

We appreciate how difficult and frustrating it is to not have water at your taps. We politely ask that respect be shown to our colleagues on the telephones and at the bottled water stations, they're there to help.

Again, thank you for your continued understanding and patience whilst we work to fix things.
