We're still working in the road
We're still working in Woodside Avenue, with the burst pipes repaired, we can now begin looking at returning the area back to normal.
Your water should be flowing at your taps, but you may notice the pressure is lower than usual, this will return to normal once we've finished in the road and left the area.
A number of our tankers remain in the area, placed around the area as a precaution.
We will need to keep parts of Woodside Avenue closed, this is to keep everyone safe. Please ensure you follow the diversions in place, and allow additional time to any journey should you be in the area; sorry for any delays.
At the moment we can't advise when we'll be finished in the road, but as soon as we get an idea, we'll let you know.

With good progress over the past few days repairing the initial broken pipe, we're now focusing on the second broken pipe in the open excavation.
Our teams have now introduced water back into the first broken pipe and things are slowly beginning to return to normal, sorry for all the disruption experienced.
We must advise, until the repairs are completed and we've left the area, you may notice your pressure fluctuates during periods of high demand.
A number of our tankers have been strategically placed around the area as a precaution.

We're still unable to advise how long we'll be in the road for, as there will be a lot of reinstatement work to do. We'll update you here as soon as we know.

We're making great progress
We've made great progress, fixing one of the broken pipes ahead of schedule. We can now begin to reintroduce water into the pipe, but this will be done in a controlled manner to ensure we don't cause further issues. Our water quality experts will also need to do thorough tests to ensure the water is of the usual highest standard.
Over the course of today, we hope to have completed the repair on the second leak that was detected in the excavation.
Sorry to customers who have been affected by the burst in Woodside Avenue, and to those who experienced issues this morning when the boosters local to them tripped. The booster was quickly reset and all supplies should now be back. Though we must advise, until the repair is complete and we've left the area, you may notice your pressure fluctuates during periods of high demand.

We're making progress
We continue to make good progress on the excavation and have now exposed the damaged main. Now we know what needs to be done, we're arranging for all the necessary fittings to be on site. Unfortunately, whilst doing the excavation we noticed a minor leak on another pipe, and before we backfill the excavation we're going to take the opportunity to fix this at the same time.
We hope to have both of the bursts repaired by the end of today, and if all goes to plan, we will then begin recharging the main tomorrow in a controlled manner.
All customers should now be in supply, though you may notice the pressure fluctuates during busy periods. We're also delivering bottled water to those we know are at risk of low pressure.

We're still working to fix the issue
Our specialist teams are continuing to work on fixing the broken pipe in Woodside Avenue. Unfortunately, there are other assets in close proximity, meaning we're having to dig carefully to ensure we don't cause further damage.
Whilst we are making progress, it's going to take some days to fix the broken pipe. We'll then need time to make good any damage to the road and surrounding areas. Once we've assessed the damage, we will advise when we anticipate the area will be open to traffic again.
We've now successfully diverted water around the area, meaning all should now have their water returning. The pressure may be lower at first, but this will return to normal once we've finished fixing the pipe and the pressure in the area has returned to normal.
