Finishing up: The team have fixed the issue and are just finishing up
We've nearly finished the repair
Our teams successfully completed fixing the second leak overnight, and we're now in the process of putting the pipe back into service.
Firstly, we need to ensure the water is of the highest quality. Our water quality teams are currently carrying out their final checks before the new pipe is commissioned and brought into service. We anticipate these checks being completed within the next few hours.
In the meantime, your water supply should now be flowing as normal, and we do not expect any further disruption.
Often when your water returns it may be discoloured at first (rusty, white or milky in colour), this is normal. For further guidance on what to do when you experience this and other issues following an incident, please see our After An Incident Guide.
Again, we're sorry for the inconvenience and disruption caused.
We're making good progress
With the first repair now completed, we're making good progress on fixing the second broken pipe.
The parts needed are now expected to arrive on site today, and we hope to have the repair completed overnight. We'll then begin to put the pipe back into use.
We'll be continually monitoring the network to ensure your water remains flowing as it should. We don't expect any further interruptions to your water supply.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Work is now underway, with equipment in place
Repair work continues
The first repair has now been completed, with a new section of pipe successfully fitted overnight.
Our teams are now waiting for the specialist parts needed to complete the second repair at Cumnor Road, which we expect to finish tonight. As soon as the parts arrive, we'll begin the final stage of the work and complete the repair as quickly and safely as possible.
While this work continues, we're closely monitoring the network and taking steps to maintain water supplies across the area. Based on current conditions, we don't expect any further interruptions to customers' water supply, although we'll continue to monitor the situation closely.
We're sorry for the disruption this has caused and would like to thank you for your patience and understanding while we complete the remaining work.
Continued progress
We continue to make good progress and our teams are working to fix the broken pipes.
Storage continues to recover and we don't anticipate any further interruptions to your supply should things continue as they are.
As a precaution, bottled water has been delivered to those who are registered on our Priority Services Register as water dependent.
We're sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your continued patience as we work to fix things.
