All properties should have their mains water. UK Power Networks will be changing your power supply back from the generator to mains power from 12:00 on Wednesday 11 March.

The water pipe serving the area has now been fully repaired and thoroughly cleaned. As part of our standard safety process, we’ve taken final water samples to ensure everything meets our strict quality standards. We expect those results later this week.

Work to fully reinstate the area continues to progress well and remains on track to be completed by 09/03.

We're happy to report that our work with our partners have nearly restored power to all the of properties affected. We are still working together to ensure that this is rectified as soon as possible.

Update - 10:42 01/03/2026

Our partners have restored power to the majority of business properties and are aiming to restore supply to the remaining properties by tomorrow morning.

Our teams are continuing the process of bringing the repaired main back into service and have begun cleaning the pipe. As this is a large water main, this process will take some time to ensure we maintain the highest water quality standards. Thorough safety checks will also be carried out to ensure everything is returned to normal operation.

Update - 08:18 28/02/2026

Power has now been restored to all residential properties in the area. A small number of business properties are still without power, and our partners are working to restore these as soon as possible, with progress continuing over the weekend.

The repair to the main water pipe has now been completed. Before we can return the network fully to service, we need to complete essential safety checks and cleaning of the pipe, which are planned to take place over the weekend.

Our teams will remain on site throughout this period, our customer support teams are in place to assist if needed.

Our teams will continue working overnight to repair the damaged section of pipe. Once repairs are complete, we’ll begin cleaning the network to ensure your water meets the highest quality standards before everything returns to normal.

This process involves flushing the mains and carrying out thorough water quality testing to make sure your supply is safe and clear before it is fully restored.

Power has now been returned to many properties, and we’re continuing to work closely with our partners to restore supply to those still affected. Our customer team remains in the area, checking in with residents and offering support where it’s needed.

Repairs to the burst water main are progressing well. We are aiming to complete the repair later today before the supply can be fully restored, this will require extensive flushing and water quality sampling.

While power has been restored to many properties, we continue to work closely with our partners to return supply to all remaining customers. Our customer team remains in the area, offering support and checking in with those affected. In addition, our partners are contacting building owners to confirm whether power has been restored.

Repair work will continue overnight, with teams working safely to complete the necessary works and restore supplies as quickly as possible.

Our teams also remain on site with our partners, working hard to restore power to the remaining affected residents. While many properties are now back in supply, we’re continuing efforts to safely reconnect those still without service.

Our team is currently on site checking with property owners to make sure every building is safely back on supply. Our teams are on site working with our partners to restore power. Power has now been restored to many properties, and efforts continue to restore supply to the remaining homes.

Work is also ongoing at the burst location. Some water is still entering the substantial void, and teams are rerouting the flow to prevent further ingress before beginning the repair work.

Repairs remain ongoing on Caledonian Road as we continue working to fix the damaged main. Our teams are on site 24/7 and are progressing the works as quickly and safely as possible. Noise will be reduced between 22:00 and 08:00 wherever we can, although some essential overnight activity may continue.

We’re continuing to support residents affected by power issues and are working closely with UK Power Networks to help restore electricity safely.

Update – 17:30 25/02/2026

We’re continuing to progress repairs on site. This includes excavating to fully expose the damaged section of main, after which we’ll assess the extent of the damage and finalise the repair plan. We’ll do everything we can to complete the works as quickly and safely as possible. We’re sorry for the disruption this has caused for residents and businesses on and around Caledonian Road.

Our teams will remain on site 24/7 until repairs are complete. To minimise disruption to residents, noise levels will be reduced between 22:00 and 08:00 wherever possible.

Our Loss Adjuster team and Customer Representatives remain on site to support anyone affected by flooding. We are also continuing to work closely with UK Power Networks to restore electricity to affected properties as soon as it is safe to do so.

A customer support van is located at All Saints Church, Caledonian Road, N1 9QW. It is available as a hub for on-site assistance and will remain open until 19:00 today.

Our teams remain on site, working on clearing the excavation to determine the extent of the damage before commencing the repair. Due to the complexity, we will be on site 24/7, however noise will be reduced between the hours of 22:00 and 08:00.

Update - 10:55 25/02/2026

Our teams are currently pumping water from the underground void so that repair work can safely resume. Your water will remain in supply, although you may experience some intermittent loss of pressure whilst we carry out the complex repair.

Our Loss Adjuster team and Customer Representatives are on site to support anyone affected by the flooding.We are also working with UK Power Networks to restore electricity to affected properties as soon as it is safe to do so.

A customer support van is located at All Saints Church, Caledonian Road, N1 9QW, and is available as a hub for on-site assistance. The van will remain in place until 19:00.

Our teams worked overnight and made good progress with the excavation to reach the damaged pipe. A large split has now been identified, along with a significant underground void.

Due to health and safety considerations, work has been temporarily paused while a full on-site assessment is carried out this morning.

Your water supply should remain on, and we will continue to do everything we can to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible.

Update – 20:45 24/02/2026

We’re pleased to let you know that all valve operations have now been completed and water is returning to all affected customers.

As the network refills, it may take a couple of hours for water pressure to fully stabilise. This can vary depending on where you live, and customers in high-rise buildings may notice it takes a little longer. You may also experience some temporary fluctuations in pressure while everything settles back to normal.

For safety reasons, electricity to local residents has been temporarily switched off. We understand this creates further disruption, and we’re very sorry. We’ll carry out thorough safety testing before restoring power to ensure it’s safe to do so. Our customer representatives and loss adjusters remain on site to support residents who have been directly impacted.

We’re also continuing to access the site so we can carry out permanent repairs to the damaged pipe. Road sweepers are also continuing to clear the area.

Update – 18:30 24/02/2026

Our teams have now successfully isolated the damaged section of pipe on Caledonian Road, N1. This has stabilised the network and restored water supply to the wider area.

We are now carrying out further valve operations to gradually return the remaining customers to supply. Once these are complete, we will be accessing the damaged pipe to assess the situation and plan the necessary repairs.

Water pressure will continue to improve as these works progress, and supplies will be fully restored as quickly and safely as possible.

Some customers in N1, N7, WC1X and EC1R may still experience low pressure or intermittent supply while we complete these works.

We remain on site supporting customers affected by flooding, including helping to clear any standing water where required. Our customer representatives and loss adjuster teams continue to provide advice and assistance to those directly impacted.

Our teams are on site at Caledonian Road, N1, working to isolate the damaged section of pipe.

Once the main has been safely isolated, water pressure will begin to rebuild across the local network. As pressure gradually returns, supplies will start to be restored to customers in the affected areas.

After the main is isolated, we’ll also be supporting customers affected by flooding, helping to clear any standing water where needed.
