No water Low pressure

Update - 07:45 21/03/2026
Having worked throughout the night, we’re pleased to confirm that the repair to the broken pipe in Amwell Road, has been successfully completed.
Your water supply should now be restored. You may notice lower pressure as the system recharges and pressure continues to build in the area.
Often when your water returns it may be discoloured at first (rusty, white or milky in colour), this is normal – for further guidance on what to do when you experience this and other issues following an incident, please see our After An Incident Guide.
If you live in a high rise block or building and remain affected. Please get in touch with your managing agent as internal pumps may need to be reset. If the above doesn't apply to you and you’re still experiencing problems with your water supply or need to report any other operational issues, please call us on 0800 316 9800. Lines are open 24/7
Our work is now complete and we're sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Update - 19:05 20/03/2026
Sorry for the delay in fixing things. We're still working on extending the excavation in order to get access to the section of broken pipe needing to be replaced.
When possible, your water supply is being returned so that you have water at your tap. It will be turned off again for periods this evening and throughout the night until the repair is finished.
Once the broken pipe is repaired your water supply will return. The pressure may be lower at first, but it will return to normal as it builds in the pipe.
We'll provide a further update no later than 09:00 tomorrow. Thank you for your patience as we work to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.

Most customers should now have your water back as our teams on site have managed to reduce the flow. You may notice the water pressure is lower than normal, but this will return to normal once the broken pipe has been fixed.
Once the fittings required to complete the repair have arrived on site, we'll be able to then complete the fix. So you may lose your supply for a short period when this is done. We’ll be doing everything we can to restore your supply as quickly as possible.
We’ll provide another update by 13:40. Thanks for your understanding while we're working to fix things.
