SL3 - Poyle Road

No water Low pressure

Last updated:

Update - 19:55 14/05/2026

Work at The Myrke, SL3 has now been successfully completed.

Repair work on Poyle Road remains ongoing. The delay to these works was due to restricted access in the area, however this has now been resolved and our teams are currently making the necessary arrangements to begin the repair on the pipe itself. The main repair work is planned to take place tomorrow morning.

In the meantime, our teams are continuing to monitor and support water supplies across the area to help minimise disruption wherever possible.

We’d like to thank customers for their continued patience and understanding while we complete these works. We’ll provide a further update by 09:00 tomorrow morning.

Update - 15:10 14/05/2026

We’ve now secured access and will begin the main repair work tomorrow morning.

In the meantime, our teams have identified an issue with a valve which may help improve water pressure for many customers overnight, and work is already underway to resolve this.

Separately, work is ongoing on The Myrke, SL3, where another fault on the network is being repaired as quickly as possible. While this work continues, you may notice temporary low pressure as we support and stabilise the area.

Our teams are doing everything they can to restore normal supplies as quickly and safely as possible. Thank you for your patience while we complete these works. We will provide a further update by 21:00.

Update - 17:38 13/05/2026

Our teams continue to progress repair works on Poyle Road, SL3. Due to ongoing access arrangements in the area, the repair is taking longer than originally anticipated to complete.

At this time, there is no impact to customer water supplies, and tankers remain in the area to help support the network where needed. Customers may continue to notice these operating locally.

During busier periods of water usage, you may also experience temporary low pressure while we continue to support and stabilise the network.

Our teams will continue to work on the repair in the background while we complete the necessary arrangements to safely finish the work.

We’d like to thank customers for their patience and understanding while these works continue.

Update - 13:30 13/05/2026

Our teams continue to carry out repair works on Poyle Road, SL3. Unfortunately, due to access issues overnight, progress was slower than anticipated and we were unable to complete as much work as planned.

Our teams remain on site and are continuing to work as quickly and safely as possible to complete the repair and restore normal service.

Tankers remain in the area to pump additional water into the network, so you may notice these around the area.

We’ll provide another update by 18:00. Thank you for your continued patience and support while we work to resolve this.

Update 10:50 13/05/2026

We’re sorry if your tap water isn’t flowing properly at the moment. Following yesterdays burst, there are further issues in the area.

Our teams are in the area to investigate the cause of this disruption and restore the flow of your water supply. We know how disruptive it is if you lose your water supply, so we’ll work hard to get things back to normal as soon as we can.

We've deployed tankers to the area to pump additional water into the network, so you may notice these around the area.

If you or someone you know needs a little extra support, our free Priority Services Register can help us to understand your situation so we can take it into account as best we can.

We’ll provide another update by 13:30. Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this.

Update - 12:25 12/05/2026

Our specialist teams on site have found the burst water pipe on Poyle Road, this has been affecting the water supply if you live in the SL3 postal code area. Sorry if you've been affected.

We've rerouted water around our network and have stopped the water flooding, this means your water supply should now be returning to normal. You may notice the pressure is lower at first, but this will improve as the pressure builds in the pipes.

If you live in a block of flats, you may need to contact your managing agent to come out and reset your internal pumps if you're still experiencing issues with your supply.

Often when your water returns it may be discoloured at first (rusty, white or milky in colour), this is normal – for further guidance on what to do when you experience this and other issues following an incident, please see our After An Incident Guide.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.
