Repair progressing
We are continuing to make good progress with the repair on Hook Road.
The damaged section of water main has now been fully exposed, which marks an important step forward in the repair process. Our specialist teams are on site this morning assessing the damage and finalising the repair plan.
Some customers may notice lower water pressure while we complete the repair. Our teams are working as quickly as possible to minimise disruption and restore normal service.
Traffic management remains in place on Hook Road and the surrounding area to maintain a safe working environment for both our teams and the public.
If you or someone you know needs a little extra support, our free Priority Services Register can help us to understand your situation so we can take it into account as best we can.
We would like to thank residents and road users for their continued patience and understanding while these essential works are carried out.
We're repairing
Our teams remain on site carrying out repairs to the damaged water main.
This continues to be a complex repair, with extensive excavation works required to safely access the affected section of pipe and complete the repair. Progress is being made, and our crews will remain on site until the repair has been completed and the network has been fully restored.
The water main remains isolated while work continues. We are closely monitoring the network and are pleased to confirm that all customers remain in supply. At this time, we do not anticipate any interruption to water services as a result of these works.
