CR4 & SW16 - Wide Way
No water or low pressure
Repairing: The team are currently fixing the issue
The following postcodes may be affected:
- CR4
- SW16
We remain on site
Our teams are continuing work in the area, with tankers in place to help support the local water supply while we carry out repairs.
Additional equipment has now arrived on site, and our teams are excavating to reach the damaged section of the pipework. This will allow us to assess the damage and carry out the necessary repairs.
We’re continuing to reroute water through our network to help move water around the affected area. The water supply is slowly recovering, but this is taking longer than expected due to higher demand across the network.
Thank you
Slowly recovering
Our specialist teams remain on site and we have tankers in the area to help support the local water supply while we continue our work.
We're continuing to reroute water through our network, helping us move water around the affected area. The water supply is slowly recovering, but this is taking longer than expected due to higher demand across the network, particularly over the weekend.
Often when your water returns it may be discoloured at first (rusty, white or milky in colour), this is normal. For further guidance on what to do when you experience this and other issues following an incident, please see our After An Incident Guide.
We’re continuing to monitor the situation and are working to restore a normal water supply as quickly as possible.
We’re sorry for the ongoing disruption and thank you for your patience while our teams work to put things right.
We're on site
Our specialist teams are now on site and have located the burst water pipe on Wide Way, CR4. Work continues to prevent flooding by isolating the pipework.
In the background, we are also working to reroute water around our network to bring the area back into supply.
We're sorry for the disruption and would like to thank you for your patience as we fix things.
