Pentonville Road trunk mains project

We're investing in our region by replacing trunk mains on Pentonville Road.

The new mains will help provide a more reliable drinking water supply. It will also help to reduce leaks and bursts and increase water carried in the mains.

How this may affect you

We'll be working in phases from February 2024 through to 2026.

Second part of our phase one works starts on Monday 17 June 2024. This will be for approximately seven weeks. We'll be working on Pentonville Road, between Rodney Street and Cynthia Street - to install meter and valves onto the new pipe.

Traffic management will include a lane closure on Pentonville Road. No bus routes will be affected.

You can view utility worksamended bus routes, and plan your journey online.

We’ll always do our best to minimise disruption to you. If access to your property or your water supply is affected, we'll let you know in advance. Pedestrians, emergency vehicles and bin collections will have full access to roads.

If you feel your business has been affected, view our business loss of profits policy.
