Pentonville Road trunk mains project

We're investing in our region by replacing trunk mains on Pentonville Road.

The new mains will help provide a more reliable drinking water supply. It will also help to reduce leaks and bursts and increase water carried in the mains.

How this may affect you

We'll be working in phases from February 2024 through to 2026.

We are now in a position to install new trunk water mains in Lloyd Square and Lloyd Baker Street. We will complete these works in four phases. Work starts January 2025 and lasts approximately 16 weeks.

During this period a ‘road closure’ will be in place on Lloyd Baker Street and Lloyd Square. Please see our on-street signage for more information. In addition, the traffic enforcement cameras will be switched off to ease access.

You can view utility worksamended bus routes, and plan your journey online.

We’ll always do our best to minimise disruption to you. If access to your property or your water supply is affected, we'll let you know in advance. Pedestrians, emergency vehicles and bin collections will have full access to roads.

If you feel your business has been affected, view our business loss of profits policy.
