Water Direct can help if you’re falling behind on your bills. Designed in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), it allows you to combine your yearly bill with any other bill arrears into one weekly payment, which goes straight from your benefits.
Am I eligible for Water Direct?
You qualify for Water Direct if your account:
- is active
- is in debt of £50 or more
- has had two failed payment plans
You’ll also need to receive one or more of the following benefits:
- Income Support
- Job Seekers Allowance (JSA)
- Pension Credit
- Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- Universal Credit
