No water Low pressure

Last updated:

Update - 19:00 24/10/2025

We’re sorry if your tap water hasn’t been flowing as normal. We’re currently dealing with a burst water pipe on Walden Road, BR7, which was also affecting customers in the BR1 and SE9 areas.

The repair is more complex than usual due to the close proximity of other utilities, including a live gas main next to the damaged pipe. We are working closely with SGN, and strict health and safety protocols are being followed to ensure the repair can be carried out safely.

In the meantime, water has been diverted around the affected pipes so that as many customers as possible can use their taps.

We'll provide a further update no later than 11:00 tomorrow morning. Thank you for your patience.

Update - 07:40 24/10/2025

We're sorry if your tap water hasn't been flowing as normal today. We’re aware of a burst water pipe in Walden Road, BR7 that has also been affecting customers in the BR1 and SE9 areas.

Our repair teams have been on site through the night, but the repair is more complex than expected due to nearby utility assets. We’re working with the other company this morning and continuing to make progress.

In the meantime, we've diverted water around the pipes that supply the area. This means majority of residents should now have water flowing through their taps, it may be at a lower pressure than you're used to, but this will improve as the pressure builds in the pipes.

Our teams are delivering bottled water to those who we know are still affected. We know how disruptive it is if you lose your water supply, so we’ll work hard to get things back to normal as soon as we can.

Due to the complexity of the repair, we do not have an estimated time of completion however we will provide regular updates here, with the next one being by 13:00 at the latest.
