We continue to deal with the burst pipes at Heatherside Gardens and Stoke Wood, SL2. We're sorry if your tap water isn’t flowing properly because of this.

We’re working to fix the burst pipes, but it’s a tricky process and taking longer than normal. While we complete the repair, we’re adding water back into our pipes using tankers, so as many customers as possible can turn on their taps again. Tankers are large vehicles filled with water, which you may notice parked in your area whilst we work on the repairs.

Once we've completed the repair in Heatherside Gardens, we'll then start on the broken pipe in Stoke Wood. At the moment all should still have their water supply, but when we start the repair in Stoke Wood some may notice lower pressure or a loss of supply, also, we may need to close the road near the burst in Stoke Wood to ensure we can work in a safe environment.

We aim to have fixed the burst pipe within 3 hours of starting our repairs. However, if we’re unable to return water to all our customers within 12 hours of first being aware of the supply interruption, we’ll arrange for an alternative as soon as we can. This may include opening a support station to hand out free bottled water.

We know how disruptive it is if you lose your water supply, so we’ll work hard to get things back to normal as soon as we can.

To keep the public and our team safe, we’ve arranged equipment to help manage the traffic while we work in the road. Sorry for the impact this may have on traffic in the area, and any delays to your journey.
