Increased Tanker Activity in the Wallingford Area

You may notice an increase in tanker vehicles operating or parking in and around the Wallingford area. This is part of essential work we're carrying out to prepare for a repair on one of our waste water pipes.

Right now, we’re still in the trial stage of our tankering operation. Due to the high volume of sewage flows in the area, this work is particularly complex. Before we can safely begin the repair, we need to be absolutely confident that our tankering setup can effectively manage these flows — without risking flooding or disruption to nearby homes.

We’re currently making further adjustments at our site today to support these trials and ensure everything runs smoothly. This careful approach is crucial to protect customers and the environment.

We understand that increased vehicle movement and parking of these large vehicles may cause some inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding while we carry out this important work. Our teams are working hard to get everything in place and move forward with the repair as soon as it’s safe to do so.
