As a property owner or tenant, you're responsible for water charges at your property. We rely on you to let us know if you use our water supply. This includes empty or vacant properties. You can find out who's responsible for paying water bills on our bill responsibility page.
Please keep us informed of any changes, such as moves and bereavements. This helps us make sure that our bills go to the right person.
You can tell us about your move as early as 28 days before your move date. The easiest way is through your online account.
If you're unsure who supplies your water, you can check this on the Water UK website.
If you’re moving into our area, tell us about your move by setting up an online account.
You can let us know you're moving to another property through your online account.
If you're leaving our area, you can close your account in your online account.
If you're moving out of a shared property and the account is in your name, please let us know you’re moving out. Someone still at the property will need to contact us to set up an account.
Tell us about your tenants and properties by using Landlord Tap. If you have two or three properties that need an account, you can call us on 0800 980 8800 to set them up. For any more properties, please use Landlord Tap.
New customers can create an online account. This is only if you're responsible for paying the water and wastewater bill. Plus you can tell us you're moving within our area and close your account online.
Furnished properties and renovations under the cost of £100,000 must have an account. Your bill will be payable as normal.
