With the driest spring on record for over a century and with the increasing temperatures over the next week we are doing everything we can to keep all our customers in supply with top quality drinking water.

Fixing leaks and using smart technology to manage water pressures are some of the ways we are using to keep up with the increased demand for water during hot weather.

Some of our pumps are currently undergoing maintenance and this is affecting how much water we can move around our pipes, so we’re using tankers to move extra water to where its most needed

Shaving two minutes off the average 10-minute shower saves 20 litres of water and turning the tap off when you brush your teeth can save up to nine litres of water a minute.

We’re also asking customers take a break from using hosepipes in gardens and around the home if they can. It’s not a ban but it will really help keep water in supply for our customers everyone in the Slough, Wycombe and Aylesbury area.
