We’re sorry if you’re experiencing low water pressure or a loss of supply. This was due to a burst water main in the area.

Our teams have now fixed the broken pipe and are working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible. We're still working to remove pockets of air from the pipes, the air in the pipes stops the water flowing around the area and can take time to remove. Owing to the air in the pipes and the size of the area affected, it will likely take until late this evening, or possibly overnight for the water supply to return to normal for everyone.

Water continues to be diverted around the area and we're using tankers to support by pumping extra water into the network, helping as many customers as possible keep their taps running. You may notice your water pressure is lower than normal at first, but this will return to normal once the area has fully recovered.

Bottled water is being delivered to those who are on our Priority Service Register, this will be delivered as quickly as possible. If you or someone you know could use a bit of extra help, especially during incidents like this, our free Priority Services Register is here to make sure we understand and support your needs.

A bottled water station has been set up, where bottled water can be collected. For safety reasons, please remain in your vehicle and only take what you need. Our teams on site will load the bottles into your vehicle. The bottled water station will remain open until 9:00pm this evening. If needed the bottled water station will be open again tomorrow morning.
