To help you understand what your bill may look like, you can view a sample metered bill based on our 2025/26 charges

Your actual bill will depend on how much water you use and the amount of wastewater we collect. There are also fixed charges that cover the costs of providing your water and waste services.

Your meter location

We'll aim to fit your meter outside your property within 50 days from your request. If we can't, we'll look into fitting it inside your home. Please make your internal stop valve accessible before our visit.

In some cases, we may be unable to install a meter. This could be due to limited space, unsuitable pipes, or the property having a shared supply.

Fitting your meter

We’ll look for where your meter could go and discuss your options on the day of the survey.

When fitting your meter, we may need to turn your water off for a few minutes. We'll let you know if you're in.

How you'll be billed

We’ll automatically switch you to metered bills. You’ll receive a final, unmetered bill and your first metered bill within six months.

If we can't fit a meter, we'll put you on our assessed household charge. But only if this lowers your bill.
