Planned network improvements
We have long-term plans to maintain and upgrade your water and wastewater services.
To help you prepare for any work that may affect you, we've published where we'll be working, what we’ll be doing and how it could impact you.
You may also receive emergency notifications about any reactive repairs, which will be issued on an ‘as needed’ basis.
We’ll contact hospitals, prisons and other sensitive customers to put alternative arrangements in place as required. Learn more about this on our sensitive customer page.

Water improvements
The benefits of improvements to our water network include:
- Increased resilience in our network will help to reduce leakage
- Ensuring we supply water at adequate pressure to all properties
- Boosting the capacity of our water network to support our growing population
The possible impact of our work could include:
- Increased lorries and tankers in the area
- Increased journey times because of traffic management, parking restrictions and road closures
- Additional dust and noise
- Temporary loss of water supply
- Possible use of tankers and bottled water
As part of our improvements, we don’t plan to turn off water supplies. However, if this does happen, we’ll make alternative arrangements, such as bottled water, if needed.
